chronology1066
Hi All Just want to canvas people on the cost of sending an international package to Thailand from various countries. I am starting to think that the UK is certainly living up to it
jamesg
Les, Have a quick read of this, it may be of help: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/...y#international Cheers! James
PAMman
I have found Parcelforce to be far too costly but Royal Mail is much better. It's weird as they are both part of the same outfit but their pricing structures are very different.
chronology1066
The problem seems to be keeping it trackable outside the UK. Most of the cheaper options stop tracking once they leave the UK Thanks though James, the options are not heavily advertised on the RM site Edited April 9, 2008 by chronology1066

b16a2
If you want to track it all the way use Airsure through the Royal Mail. However, not all receiving countries use this, so you'll have to check if Thailand is one of them. If not send it Int Signed For, can track it up until it leaves the UK. musicale
FWIW I have always found Royal Mail to do a better job of delivery than ParcelForce when you use recorded or special delivery.

Three weeks for a three day service would have me raising all kinds of hell with Parcelforce, believe you me. Royal Mail have NEVER been late on any of my Special Delivery packages. Almost annoys me sometimes as I'd rather wait an extra day and get the money back.
