Does DSN ever have issues getting things out of China into the US? TIA for the answers. In all the time I have bought from David, using his EMS service, the latest a package has arrived is 7 days. Usually I get it within 3-5. Only Jay/Silix' service is faster from China. I agree with Cheezus. Be sure it's not stuck in Customs, or in the airport depot -- as unusual as either of those situations are in the US. @55evp: Oh it's not SHIPPED yet?? Then don't worry about it. Really.
FWATCH Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Haven't had any problem yet. Only ordered one rep from Davidsen so far. Shipping was a little slow, but not unreasonable. I have received about 22 reps using EMS. No problems yet.
55evp Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Posted April 22, 2008 thanks guys for the answers. i haven't actually been able to get him to physically ship the watch yet. it was supposed to be shipped last week but no go yet. i'm being patient but i hope it gets shipped soon. i had just read about some of the issues with ems and customs in other threads and was just curious if i should suggest an alternative method of shipping.

But I recall seeing a recent offer where he noted 20USD extra for EMS shipping, otherwise just regular international shipping... Is this the case now for all of his orders?

Is this the case now for all of his orders? when he replied to me sat. regarding the shipping status, he stated that he would provide me with an ems tracking number today.
mattegold Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 @ fat.tail.event - I believe the extra $20 is for EMS 'SpeedPost'. That's what I choose for my last order, he shipped on Saturday, it arrived on Thursday. -M
