Bender222 Posted April 25, 2008 Report Share Posted April 25, 2008 i bought a two tone bce. inside the crystal the gold is brilliant yellow. outside the crystal the gold is dull and looks more like copper. does it just need to be olished or is this how it should look? Rolexman Posted April 25, 2008 Report Share Posted April 25, 2008 (edited) If you buy a gold rep 9 out of 10 you can't polish them as it is only plated gold. Any sort of abrasive will remove the gold. This especially applies to the BCE TT as the gold plating is crap! Bender222 Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 upon further nspection i have determined that my watch ( that i just bought less than a week ago from Josh) is infact a v1 and not the new one. the date font is way off.
