Here's a couple of shots I took today, getting to grips with my new DSLR.

One standard

One macro

As always, either can be clicked for a 1280px wide version. Comments welcome.

I am always looking for good Omega wallpapers. These are great. Especially the 1st one.

What size wallpapers should I be doing, by the way?

1280 x 800 is the more common res these days. The falling costs of laptops means more people than ever are using them and most laptops are now widescreen. Its a right pain in the [censored] resizing wallpapers all the time lol.

1680x1050 is becoming extremely common as well. Although it's 16:10, the low cost and large size of the TN panel has greatly increased their popularity among manufacturers and the consumer.

I use 1920x1200 at work and 1280x800 at home. Expect those two as my most common wallpapers :)

The only way to do this is to crop them. I will do this for you later as I am on the train at the moment.
