Pugwash Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Here's a couple of shots I took today, getting to grips with my new DSLR. One standard One macro As always, either can be clicked for a 1280px wide version. Comments welcome.

Sturb Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 What size wallpapers should I be doing, by the way? 1280 x 800 is the more common res these days. The falling costs of laptops means more people than ever are using them and most laptops are now widescreen. Its a right pain in the [censored] resizing wallpapers all the time lol.
Dizzy Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 the macro pic is awesome!! ya my HP $699 laptop is running 1280x800
djh Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 1680x1050 is becoming extremely common as well. Although it's 16:10, the low cost and large size of the TN panel has greatly increased their popularity among manufacturers and the consumer.

Expect those two as my most common wallpapers
