Hey Everyone,

Received a Datejust yesterday for my Mum (from a trusted site dealer), opened it up and found the caseback engraved with the dreaded 'Gelena Shitinerand' and numerous other strange ramblings. The watch actually looks quite nice and has an ETA 2671 and also wasnt cheap. Just wondering if the fact that the watch contains the famous phrase "Shitinerand" means that the watch is a $3 rep or is this common among the ladies rolex reps? Is this a bad sign?

For a submariner "gelena shitinerand" means : I'm a lucky guy, I've got a keeper!

Check the thread "polex ?" in this area

I was thinking the same thing...but to be honest, I'm not sure what it means with a DJ...hmmmm.... :g:

Well the first thing that comes to mind here is.............don't open it up and no one know's ;)

From memory these were in fact good cases that may (or may not) have been made outside China and the changing of the stamps was so there would be no custom problems when going to point of asembly.

Then of course I could be wrong :D

A couple of my favorite Rolex reps have been revealed to be from Gelena.

Not a problem for me!
