I have a rep of the 2006 edition but its a cheap ($120) quartz rep and i think the case back is completely wrong. My caseback is completely flat while on some reps it is raised in the middle and therefore increases the depth of the watch a good few mm's. The depth of my watch is 10mm which seems very little and the watch is very flat on my wrist! Can't find a pic of the gen to compare. You would do better to start over. The link chrono is one of the most accurate replcas out of the box.
