RRFAN Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Does anyone have a picture of the case back of a gen tag link? I have a rep of the 2006 edition but its a cheap ($120) quartz rep and i think the case back is completely wrong. My caseback is completely flat while on some reps it is raised in the middle and therefore increases the depth of the watch a good few mm's. The depth of my watch is 10mm which seems very little and the watch is very flat on my wrist! Can't find a pic of the gen to compare. Also if it is a wrong caseback and I got my hands on a correct rep one, what are the chances it will fit my watch?
cib0rgman Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I have a co worker who has a Link Chrono ans his caseback is see thru. that watch is really cool. I did not know that Tag Was doing that now. Cheers
By-Tor Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 It looks like the brand new (gen) Link Chrono models (automatics) have a see-thru caseback and antireflective coating. Both are welcome additions, imho.

Pretty accurate replica and I believe the only issues with the caseback are numeric. http://www.pc-80108.com/tg10001-link-blue-...8242-p-222.html Zero chance of aftermarket parts mods fitting a cheap replica. You would do better to start over. The link chrono is one of the most accurate replcas out of the box. Check out By-Tor's reviews for Tags
