Timepiece
Well I almost thought I was never going to see my money's worth... Ordered on Jan 31st of this year, it arrived today end of May, my custom made HKTAN brown distressed leather strap for my 3717. This is what it looked like before on a black gator; mmhhh, bit of a gap there right due to the 20mm strap! ...and this is what it looks like now: At least 21 mm, just beautiful thick leather with cream stitches. I think it gives the watch the more rugged old-school look I was looking for. I put on the buckle/tang from my oem Portuguese rep strap since it arrived without any. THIS IS THICK !!! iceberg1459
nice, but i would expect some gen big pilot strap-like quality considering his prices and waiting time. But still very nice though, wear it well. btw check this out pilot strap

Had I known that the announced 40 working days would become a lot more I might have reconsidered and this could have been a good alternative! jake48
Well I almost thought I was never going to see my money's worth... Ordered on Jan 31st of this year, it arrived today end of May, my custom made HKTAN brown distressed leather strap for my 3717. Great looking strap! I had a similar experience with Hk. I waited three and half months before I got the cracked vintage strap I ordered for my Fiddy. But I have to say, that strap sure does look good on my watch... deltatahoe
wow looks fantastic timepiece -- completely changes the look of the watch. a couple questions: i) what is the width of the buckle you put on the strap? am i right in reading that it is an OEM buckle? if so, how much did it cost? ii) how much was this strap from hktan? once again -- congrats on a great new strap deltatahoe

fotoman
my HKtans and V straps are the jewels of my collection. I just got my gator for my tourbillon and i'm waiting for a hornback for my skeleton watch. I got mine after about 6 weeks - i love the strap, i think it goes great with the watch, in fact, it makes the whole package way more appealing. As for the HKTan "quality and wait time" - my straps from him have been as good to OEM straps as i have seen - and his prices while not Bob strap low are very good deals comparing to what else is out there. There are some other straps that i would consider in the same $$ range, but so far the customizing for size style and color is really a nice feature. i like em thick

Hmm, I read something about difficulties with treating already AR treated crystals?! This crystal was already treated OEM Rep. Do you have good experience with that. Well I already got to admire the work of K2222 up close: see my recent topic in the Omega area on my SMP Bond.
