lanikai
wanted to post this in the omega section for quick result.. but if the mods feel it would be in the repair and upgrade section .. please move at your discretion.. Do I need to remove the bezel to remove and reinstall the crystal..??? I know the genuine is not AR'd but i just cannot get over looking at the glare after having Chiefs AR crystal on my HBB.. thanks you Lani
triplehd
Youre gonna have to remove the movement and push the crystal out. Removing the bezel will not able you to remove the crystal unfortunately.
HauteHippie
Ditto what triplehd said. Leave the bezel on.
watcher
Gen SMP does have single internal AR.
takashi
Yes, you don't have to remove the bezel in order to remove the crystal. Like triplehd said, movement has to be removed first. Push the crystal from inside the watch case, out. @watcher: the modern one comes with double sided AR coating. My old gen doesn't even show trace of AR coating
spooky driver
OK i know this is probably a stupid question but when you try and put the crystal back does it need glued?
triplehd
Nope. Just use a crystal press.
