Balosch
Cause of the balance wheel and the "incabloc" shok protection I think it should be an asian!!!
scoobs1971
Apart from the discussion 'how Swiss is a Swiss rep these days' I would say this is Asian by the type of shock protector used....
takashi
It's an Asian movement. Yes, balance wheel shape and shock protector
FxrAndy
Also the CDG finish looks too rough to be swiss
ReMo
Good god, your fast Thank you so much for the prompt replies. I nearly ordered this: 177H Asian Swan neck from Joshua, when I saw the "Swiss" on iOffer. The iOffer seller also states that it is Sapphire, and Josh's is Synthetic Sapphire (coated miniral) But if it is asian like Josh's, I think I will go with him. Again, thank you
Pugwash
The iOffer seller also states that it is Sapphire, and Josh's is Synthetic Sapphire (coated miniral) Oh, how little white lies bite back.
P4GTR
177H from Joshua. I ordered without swan, but got one anyways. Your experience may vary.
PAMman
Yep, it's Asian. However, even the 'most Swiss' of the Panerai style movements is largely Asian anyway, so it seems somewhat pointless to put any significant weight on the Swiss origin of the base movements. bluerex
Just go with Joshua regardless. I bought the 177H from him 2 weeks ago and I am happy with it.
Fish
The movement is a Seagull with the old needle swan neck regulation, no ETA stamp visible. Besides that, with a 21.600bph movement and correct OP XI bridges there wouldn

ReMo
Ok, that's it. I have just placed an order for the asian swanneck 177H, from Perfect Clones. And so begins the quest for a nice vintage 24/22 strap, and a good EU based lumer. Thank you all for your help
