And here's the white dial version.

Gen, again. So far I haven't found one single flaw from this (besides the typical 7750 datewheel of course).

It does look good. The only thing I notice is the fit of the end pieces to the case. The gen looks nice and tight and the rep looks a little loose. The dials look pretty darn close. MAYBE the subdials arent as deep as the gen, but of course it is hard to tell from pics.

Nice find! BT

The SEL thing could be just a springbar issue. I have the same problem on my Aquaracer chrono.

Damn it's is nice... they really made this one well. :o

Discovery is a cheaper model in the Ebel catalog, and it uses the standard ETA 7750. Good for the rep makers!

That white dial version is really nice.

superb presentation....Nitpicking..I noticed the outer ring of the subdials are a bit different , also the digits on the bezel on the gen are more straight put on the bezel, on the rep they follow the rounding of the bezel but its gorgeous, gonna order me one....

Yeah, going to get one too.

But now we have the same dilemma as usual: Black or white?

White looks great on Joshua's pics, but the black one is equally amazing.

Both look great, but I would definitely go for the black version. But no wonder, all my reps are black, grey or dark blue dials. I also like the red hands in the chrono dials in the black version. Very impressive. Wonder what is the price of a gen?

Wonder what is the price of a gen?

The gen retails at around $4K, but the real selling price is about $2.3K.

This is the starting model of the 1911 line. BTR has an inhouse movement, and is more expensive.

What a beautiful watch. I've been admiring the Gen. which one to get?? BTR or this one?

I don't know Robert.

Accuracy wise, this definitely. But I'm also very attracted to the BTR (regardless of the subdial issue).

I think I'll go for this anyway. Not sure which color though... I'll probably wait for the real life shots by the members first. :)

Both black and panda dials look fantastic.

I think ... though I must see it in person to be sure ,.... the panda dial makes really the dial to pop up.

AR looks great in both dials.

CHN factories it seems that they produce now 1 new rep every month .... :o

I sent Eurotimez and Precious Time email about this. Perhaps they can source it for us EU customers.
