New York City Summer GTG: August 25th

I cannot even begin to believe this... but as a single father I may have to cancel my trip this week. My 3 year old started getting pretty sick last night and it hasnt subsided.

The nanny just called and said I need to come home and possibly take him to the doctor as he cant keep anything down. Unless there is a marked improvement between now and tomorrow morning, I will have to cancel.

Anyone else from SoCal able to get the time off if I cant go? I dont think my ticket is refundable...

UPDATE: I am out. My son has a 102 fever and the nanny wont stay with him while I am gone if he is sick. I may even need to get him off to the doctor tomorrow morning if the fever doesnt subside.

I cannot even express how disappointed I am. I have made some great new friends that are going to be there, and I was REALLY looking forward to meeting them.

I will be contacting one of you attending for a little favor...
