straight_six
Hi all, my black themes just arrived and I'm not so concerned about the date window mod, but here's what the lume should look like... Guess we'll be doing it ourselves again Dean
Samurai
Mate...what does the lume on the new rep look like? Cheers
Guest carlsbadrolex
There is NO lume on the dial... Only the Hour and Minute hands.
straight_six
Hands only, and bad at that... Dean Mate...what does the lume on the new rep look like? Cheers
Samurai
Damn....that's a shame. Just when you think they have got it all sorted out....they screw up somewhere else. Oh well.....guess will get one and then get one of our resident experts to work their lume magic on it.
Samurai
Was thinking of getting the white steel bezel with gray sub dials with a rubber strap. Don't much like the look of the rubber bezel. Does a gen exist with steel bezel and rubber strap?...or is it only with rubber bezel and rubber strap? Cheers
promotersf
Awesome Dean, I'm sure alot of us will be reluming ours shortly, it's a great reference point. dave
cue003
that lume on the gen looks great. I guess you guys will have to get Vac or The Zigmeister to do their magic. Should come out awesome ... however that is an additional cost above and beyond the price tag already on these bad boys. Curtis
lanikai
The only thing that concerns me .. and I'm no lume expert.. there dosen't appear to be much "room" for additional lume without distorting the proportions of the markers...
Guest carlsbadrolex
I just made a new thread about taking the new ROO apart, while I had mine apart this evening I took a close look at the dial with a 10x loupe. It seems to me this dial will be really tough to loom as there is nothing to "contain" the lume. The white paint is actually raised. Furthermore, I really dont think the numbers are glued on to the dial as others have stated. I could see no gap at all between the numbers and the texture dial. straight_six
My thoughts exactly...even a superthin layer might look awkward on it Dean The only thing that concerns me .. and I'm no lume expert.. there dosen't appear to be much "room" for additional lume without distorting the proportions of the markers...
