My boss saw that I replaced my rg bezel with the ceramic black one and he asked me how I got it.....We both have the same watches, mine is a rep though.... ;-)

So can he just go through hublot to get another style bezel?

I think they only do replacements and it costs around 1000euro. I doubt they will give a bezel without some proof of owning a genuine BB, with the specific bezel too. Still, a lot Gen owners know about our 'after market' bezels, so You could explain to him that You did it in this way.

Regarding the 'OEM', I have no idea if all of the ceramic bezels are trully OEM, a production overrun, or 'according to OEM specs', what I can tell You and You know it already, they are really impressive :) I think You should do some explaining (need to know basis..no forum-reps etc) to your boss and order a bezel for him too :)

I think its a lie that ANY replica came with genuine Hublot OEM bezels.

They just use this lie to charge 1000$ for the watch.

I agree.

But If the rep ceramic bezel fits the gen, probably some can confirm that, then you can tell him than it

First run ceramic HBBs are rumored to have gen Kyocera bezels.

Then this would really show the greed....

The first run ceramic HBBs (with the so-called genuine) were around $600-700, and now they are $1000 and up and now without genuine bezels? Is that not just pure greed for what is now an inferior product?

I agree to - it's mostly likely a planted rumor to add to the "myth" of the first run hbb's :)

Edit: Nevertheless, the quality of these bezels are impeccable, so it doesn't really matter. $1000 for a "OEM" bezel wouldn't surprise me at all - pretty nice margins for Hublot, one would assume!
