freddy333 Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 ASIAN IHS ONLY This is 3 of 3 GMTIIC Interim Status Polls to try to get a better idea of the percentage of GMTIICs that are having problems, broken down by movement options - CHS, IHS Swiss or IHS Asian. Please be sure to post in the appropriate poll for your particular watch.
jnkay Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 Occassionally, maybe every other day, it just stops working until I shake it around violently, and then it wakes up. So now I am in the habit of checking it often just to see if it is ticking. In between stoppages, it keeps excellent time and has a couple days of reserve power. Of course, it has the same issues that others cite.

Please vote if you did not already do so. I am trying to get an accurate tally (by movement) of which watches are running & which are not.
llsteve80 Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 Mine is running fine, no problemos. Of course, the crystal is crooked, and of course, that doesn't affect the movement. I just hope nobody clicks "running, minor problems" over that or similar, non functionality issues.
Steve G Posted July 23, 2008 Report Posted July 23, 2008 I clicked running with no problems, keeps perfect time for over 2 weeks straight. Yes crystal is a little off, but I didn't count that.
magagne Posted July 23, 2008 Report Posted July 23, 2008 +1 here too, run perfectly. Crystal is very little off, but it don't bother me, and I'll NOT touch it.
