cib0rgman Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 I was unable to find a post on this Topic. I have a DSN 088 and the rotor is very loud, is there a solution to this. is the ETA 7750 loud as the Asian one. thanks
lanikai Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 I use the microlubricant from Ofrei.. take off the rotor and lube the bearings in the rotor.. it silenced it for me.. and I understand alot of members do this.. all I used was a toothpick to get a very small amount of lubricant on the bearings..
szvwj Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 I used some DeoxIT L260Cp (hxxp://store.caig.com/s.nl/it.A/id.1595/.f) to silence the rotor on my A7750 and it worked like a charm. I think the trick is to use a high-temperature grease. You don't want it to melt (and then drip) into the workings of the watch.

sssurfer Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 I opened the caseback and filled any rooms & spaces with glue. I can assure it made the rotor completely quiet.
cib0rgman Posted August 6, 2008 Author Report Posted August 6, 2008 I will try your suggestions but first I need a case back opener for Pam watches, any know where to get this. Thanks

Raijor Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 I have used the high temp grease solution to great success. It has to be high temp grease so that it will not melt. Put a small amount into the part of the rotor that holds the rotor berings. Cheers
