rckh
I never like Breitling.....but after I found this....I fall in love with it.....Compare with my IWC 3717; both for them are pilot watch....But Skyland give me Modern, Tough, & solid feel.....Double AR is good...The SS band is 100% fit & very comfortable....the shinny band & huge case keep telling anybody around me that "See my watch".....As some of you may know...I'm freak....I don't like A7750....THX so much for Angus to swap the ETA7750 for me! rckh
Try to contact my faithful dealer Puretime(Angus). He will offer you ETA7750 Skyland as you request! The SS band is very nice but the high polish surface always collect a lot of finger print. Also; It's really heavy. I just recieved my "deBeer EUROPA baby croco grain with white stitch strap". Swapped & very nice looking; will take a few more shots late! Best Regards, Raymond

Watchmeister
It looks great. I am preparing to give in. Can you tell me how firm the bezel mechanism is? Does it have firm clicks and not too much play in between settings? Actually I would love to hear from anyone who owns the current Skylans. ta8088
Very nice! An ETA7750 Skyland right out of the box. Just curious have you opened the caseback to make sure it's an ETA? If you don't mind PM'ing me the price I'd be curious to see what one of these would run.

red
My coworker purchased the Skyland while in China and he had asked me to take it to the watchsmith for him (I live in an Asian neighborhood with a watchsmith that is quite rep friendly). This may be or may not be pertinent, but the watchsmith remarked that the Asian movement was very good. There wasn't any unusual stress. He said that it should be good for a year or two if worn properly and kept in a winder. He also said that with proper service there shouldn't be any issues. Maybe my friend got lucky, but I think the Chinese are just getting "that" good.
slay
did you open it up and see whats inside? not trying to imply anything here, just sayin.... definitely a nice watch! its really starting to grow on me... but i'd prefer a 7753 powered navitime... to bad they are so darn expensive! Watchmeister
The Chinese are getting good? Check out the Seagull double tourbillon. I was on Cathay in the business lounge and they had an ad for that watch in the front of the luxury magazine. The watch now proudly states "quality since 1955". When they want to be they can be better than anyone else. Now would somebody please tell me if the bezel mechanism is any good?
dylan
W, the bezel mechanism is nice on this one... its the best rep for under $300 for sure... now i'm waiting on a strap that i think will look awesome on this puppy...should be here tomorrow.. i'll post pics to see what peeps think... red
Poor manners on my part. The pictures look really good, and with the croc strap from the other thread the watch is smashing. Where were you able to get the croc, Raymond? Edited August 14, 2008 by red
milsub5517
kruz, out of 3 breit's i have , the Sky V2 has the best bezel! very tight and firm, no play at all. i was shocked when i first got it, its that good. now, i am not sure how consistent is the quality in all of them. MADRED7
is this the same avenger precious time is selling , the 'ultimate' ? Theo P.S.: I ordered the watch with ss bracelet and additional rubber strap....placed another order for a nice grey croc strap some minutes ago! fotoman
so is this watch around 700-800$ usd? or you can get the V1 if you can handle a half lume dot at 3:00 for $200 which is cheaper than buying a 2nd 7750 so, if your watch dies get another for 200 - then get a 3rd, STILL cheaper than getting an ETA. - and, i have never had a 7750 die on me. so its a pretty good bet
