my new 42mm Aviator - special finished case

My new case is ready... it is in a special design with brushed and polished parts. Double AR sapphire on front and double AR sapphire on back.

Wow, that lume is off the charts. I like the brushed / polished effect on the casing as well. I'm not into pilot watches, but if I was I'd give this a serious look. Nicely done.

Any chances of an Automatic version?

no automatic - i hate to install a small automatic movement in a big case -_-

but what you think about this here Pug... ETA Unitas 6497-1 with chrono module... comming in 2009

this will be decorated with swan neck, screw balance, blued screws and nice hand engravings

Personally speaking, I don't need a seconds hand :) I am neither a pilot or an aviator; rather, just someone who likes the clean, uncluttered look of not having the seconds hand :)

I am starving for a center-seconds manual wind (modified 6497) like the Chronoswiss, Stowa FO, or Steinhart limited. To me, that captures the essence of the original flieger.

I know that these movements are rare, and add a lot to the cost...but somehow I think that you will figure out a solution eventually, T :whistling:
