t Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 My new case is ready... it is in a special design with brushed and polished parts. Double AR sapphire on front and double AR sapphire on back. here a prototype
t Posted August 16, 2008 Author Report Posted August 16, 2008 Very nice t. Is the lume C3? yes c3 with amazing lume quality
ironmarshal Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Wow, that lume is off the charts. I like the brushed / polished effect on the casing as well. I'm not into pilot watches, but if I was I'd give this a serious look. Nicely done.
Pugwash Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Very nice watch. Any chances of an Automatic version?
t Posted August 16, 2008 Author Report Posted August 16, 2008 Very nice watch. Any chances of an Automatic version? no automatic - i hate to install a small automatic movement in a big case but what you think about this here Pug... ETA Unitas 6497-1 with chrono module... comming in 2009 this will be decorated with swan neck, screw balance, blued screws and nice hand engravings
ubiquitous Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Me likeys! Any chance or possibility of a 'base'/no seconds option for the dial? That's one gorgeous pilot!!

professor_yaffle1 Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Wow, that's a fantastic watch t! Another one to add to my list......
ubiquitous Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Personally speaking, I don't need a seconds hand I am neither a pilot or an aviator; rather, just someone who likes the clean, uncluttered look of not having the seconds hand Ah well... If it can't be done, it can't be done.
Cats Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Great watch T . I have to get used to the hands i personally would like to see them a bit slimmer. Carpe Diem Cats

Guest avitt Posted August 17, 2008 Report Posted August 17, 2008 I am starving for a center-seconds manual wind (modified 6497) like the Chronoswiss, Stowa FO, or Steinhart limited. To me, that captures the essence of the original flieger. I know that these movements are rare, and add a lot to the cost...but somehow I think that you will figure out a solution eventually, T
