No problem so far. But this is the issue. One seller told me, NOT ALL Kens RXW MM have sapphire. True or??? I received several scans from one seller (which i prefer),also a scan from the guaranteecard. As you can see exp date 2005.7.7. So the watch is from 2004. yoshman Posted July 9, 2006 Report Share Posted July 9, 2006 True. I had an original Ken Trading RXW that didn't have a Sapphire Crystal. The Sapphire Crystal was an upgrade. Keep it up! correct there is different runs of the MM20 and many of them have problems with loose CG lever - mine included there is a version with full polished case, cant remember the glass, think it is mineral then there is a version with mineral glass and brushed case and a version with sapphier glass, AR coating and brushed case it is really easy to see if it is with mineral or sapphier glass.. the mineral glass is more flat than the sapphier so there is more distortion looking through the sapphier plus the sapphier have AR coating. That would be a big dissepointment. hehe - let me correct it - sorry for the confusion - must be tired the sapphier is much more domed than the mineral, giving the more distortion on the sapphier the crystal shapes is different, the sapphier is much more domed than the mineral version.. this is the mineral this is the sapphier but again, as i stated in the previus post, that the crystal i have in now is sapphier, but with the mineral shape due to i got a stratch in the crystal, and was lucky to get hold of an aftermarket crystal in sapphier incl the AR coating... Sapphire has distortion, sapphier is much more domed and it's with AR. Mineral is flat. But you've got a sapphire (flat not domed) aftermarket. Also with AR. confused me NO why? . LOL Anyway a standard RXW (KENS) with sapphire must be: domed shape and AR. I must see distortion and BLUE. If not it's mineral. Thanks. I think the gen 6152-2 also has a recessed pinion. So it is more accurate as is, if accuracy is that important. Remember the MM20 is not marketed as a rep, but more as an hommage. I 've red a lot about this watch and believe me you can not compare this watch with the reps from our dealers (sorry). Some time ago,i've bought a RXW rep from another member. The CG was not good (lever position) The lever was not that great The front glass was well... dimensions Etc. Ken's RXW MM is big,huge. It's a quality piece. One thing is the weight of this watch,heavy compact. Also what everybody will notice, the front glass. It's real sapphire and has real ar coating. It's blue and when i say blue, IT IS BLUE and very thick. The lume is awesome, unbelieveble. I need sunglasses. LOL The box,straps,tools etc is also great. I'm very happy with this watch and i want to thanks some members. They gave me very usefull advice. Last week i could buy a RXW MM but i didn;t know there were so many versions. Almost i've bought a Kens RXW wrong version, mineral!. I can not give the address because the seller asked me.(sorry) It's very illegal and believe me it's not easy to order. I was very lucky because the seller did sent it with only my name and street and telephone nr. No zipcode,country or whatever. Guess what customs called me, my first reaction was damn. The man in charge told me there was a package from Japan but there was no full address. He asked me what to do. LOL. Well i gave him my full name and address and the man in charge told me he would take care of it. The first time i like customs. maybe next week pics, it's too hot. i saw some RXW MM from KEN for ridiculous prices, luckily i've paid the standard price usd 950., i know not cheap but every penny worth. If you put two high quality straps in, a real swiss movement, 100 m waterproof and outstanding lum and nice presentation box the 1,000 doesn't seem like a lot anymore. I am not sure that after filing the form, it goes into a black hole... and your credit card # along with it.
