  1. I ordered a bunch of beginners tools from Ofrei online a while ago, and it was a flawless transaction. He actually upgraded for free a few items that were out of stock. Regards,
  2. My friend has a gen 44m Auto Pam (no clue what model, sorry), and the crown was nice and thick. I'd say that for sure ~2mm. Very slight bevel. Handling the watch made you instantly aware how far any auto rep is from the real deal. Regards,
  3. Mark is a true gentleman and a man of his word. Enjoy these days, Mark!!
  4. If you are going to do some "real turism" through South America, taking a valuable watch is a sure recipe for trouble. Off the top of my head, the watch that meets all your requirements is a Seiko black monster. I usually take a quartz POS. Have fun on your trip!
  5. Hi, Thanks for your kind comments. The watch was originally bought from Joshua (swiss 6497 movement). Mark replaced the crystal with a custom plexiglass one and he relumed the watch with vintage lume. The dial was relumed using some kind of enamel on top of the lume, giving it a great vintage feel. Regards,
  6. I wanted to publicly thank Mark for the work he did on my watch. He is a very talented individual and a gentleman. Such attributes are hard to find nowadays, specially coexisting together. Happy new year,
  7. yeah, because by then you aren't dead drunk any more, and hence you can see what your friends were giggling about
  8. A firefly's fart glows brighter/longer than this one. I just recently got this same model, and it has the worse lume ever. Polar opposite of the 243, which is fantastic in that regard right out of the box. Great pics, Rolli!
  9. I have two (I forgot to turn off my eBay robot ) of the 4 watch version, and at least the one I use, is totally silent. By the way, the one you are looking at is HUGE.
  10. I'm pretty happy with the hands on mine. I don't lose any sleep over 1mm more or less. The law of diminishing returns kicks in at full force when you get that picky.
  11. Being a Pam lover, my biggest disappointment would have to be the WM white SD. Hands down the fastest watch I have ever flipped. As soon as I opened the package I knew it wasn't for me. Quality seemed good, but it was tiny on my wrist, and still needed a few modifications. The watch was on the post office on its way to the new owner about two hours after I got delivery of it. On the other side of the spectrum, the watch that I keep going to is my lightly modded 063. I have gotten it to the point where I am satisfied with, and I just love that watch.
  12. Looks great! I really like this one. How hard was it to put the watch on an ostridge's neck?
  13. Ah! Having messed up one myself, I also learned the hard way. I was told to pull the stem all the way out (change time position) and then, with a 1.2mm screwdriver, press lightly as one pulls the stem out. I wish I had asked before I mangled my 063. I am making The Zigmeister rich! Regards,
