JBond
This rep is just HORRIBLE! Look at the case back! This is the case back of the casino royal's Planet Ocean! Look at the bad dial, the bad CG's, the bad Crowns...and the pearl! OH MY GOD! Edited September 5, 2008 by JBond
fakemaster
Why would it have Casio Royale on it anyway? It had nothing to do with that movie. Then again why do people think that the Bond watch was auto. The mysteries of life.
PAMman
That's the worst shape of case & CGs ever, and there have been many variations.
whitestripes
In addition to all the horrible inaccuracies, WHY CAN'T THE REP MANUFACTURERS GET THE DAMN LOGO AND OMEGA WRITING DOWN?! FLAT FEET, BAR THROUGH THE MIDDLE, NOT THE BOTTOM!!!!! If this is the new "Bond seamaster" style they said was coming soon, I am going to be sick. Then order Silix's 2531 bond smp... just a crownguard problem.
Fireman_Fred
I don't understand why the factories keep churning out these innacurate/fantasy reps instead of bringing out a really good "1:1" rep of the Coax SMP. They managed to do a fantastic rep of the Breitling Skyland but the SMP reps just seem to get worse and worse...
By-Tor
Agreed. This is a big disappointment, if this is really the "hot new SMP" they were talking about.
zzipy
Sucks. I was waiting to buy SMP with the new batch. Looks like things are getting worse. First 3717 V2 dial was shitty and now this.
mars08
This rep would have made a better starting point...
orionz
don't think that this is the new version everyone was talking a time ago. this one is on that site allready a while.
whitestripes
Look at the crown guards on this thing! It's hard to tell what it'd look like with the crown screwed in, but at least they come far out and we could shave em down if necessary! Worlds better than the current ETA Bond SMP. This rep would have made a better starting point...
triplehd
I dont know how they got it right before with the close factory SMPs and now, WTF. They came out with Super-Rep Breitlings, but nothing for Omegas? I mean, how hard is it to create a 1:1 Omega SMP? It took 4-5 versions for the 42 PO, 3 to finally get the UPO and they both had flaws. Unacceptable IMHO. With the dawn of the super-reps, this is a HUGE step backwards when it comes to the new Omegas. Does anyone really wanna know how I really feel? whitestripes
Even the closed-factory SMPs didn't have perfect crown guards. AFAIK, only the "budget" bonds have those nice crown guards.
Logan
The crown guards and case would be (more) accurate.. if this was a GMT model, but wrong for a regular model.
