Just an opinion - replica shoes aint worth it. They do tend to look fake, and if you're willing to wait till sale seasons, you can get kenneth coles / cole haans for very reasonable prices. Alternatively, hit up ebay for well maintained used shoes. Just my $0.02

Even if they don't look fake, the whole of point of a high quality shoe for me is that they feel like a million bucks (a shoe isn't worth anything if my feet are screaming or tire out quickly) and last forever.

I would spring for the gens (ideally waiting until they are on sale).

If you live in a major city, check out sample sales the designers sometimes buyback some of their inventory from the stores to liquidate them. They usually run for a week and discounts get deeper toward the last day or two.

I'm big on Ferragamos, so being able to buy a pair of $400 shoes for only $89 is like the kind of deal only a complete moron would pass up!
