Question for the Gurus

I have a soccer game which I'd like to burn to a data DVD disc, but my DVD player doesn't recognize files larger than 2 Gig... thus the game is not viewable on it. What is the easiest way to split that file in two?

Thanks.

I'd rather just split in two parts. I recall I had that kind of program installed but I don't remember what it was. Most of the video programs are extremely difficult to use... just a simple program that splits avis would suffice (without millions of extra options). :)

when burning large files to data DVD, select a different standard.

I use Nero.

Try on a DVD RW first to test.

Just realised (re-reading) the problem is your DVD player.

Perhaps something like TMPGEnc (free program) may split it.

Puggy's VirtualDub will probably work too.

Don't know if you could use HJSplit into two files and rename each as .avis but as that is a file splitter program and AVI's work unlike mpegs, it may not work.

By the way, which game and where can you get full games?
