That stuff was all a long time ago and nobody takes RWG1 seriously anyways - it is the Animal House of the rep forums. Just a fun place. I know it is paid up till the end of the year - so it must be a technical problem. I imagine JB will talk to Blade and it will be up again. But I would like to seriously see about having him turn over the reigns to someone else. I would be willing to pony up some bucks for it to survive. And it won't take much of anyone's time - it runs by itself right now anyway. GUYS!!!! I am so happy you are all here! Greg, I think it will all get worked out (again). We had a bad one back in June or around there and it was down for a few weeks. But Dems said that an anonymous donor paid up the hosting fees through January of 09 so I don't think that is it. I suspect JB has an account here and can communicate with us at some point - do any of the mods here know - TT? Can you communicate with JB? Does he have a way to log in here? Anyway, I expect it will all be ironed out but we should get serious about pitching in to save the place. I really like it there and I would be very sad to see it go (not to mention lonely). You have the bin for bisarre stuff, but there are things we cannot allow here that is posted on RWG1. If RWG1 stays down permanently, we'll see if we can find a permanent solution for the refugees Not going to put anybody hopes out, but I am afraid that when it says the account has suspended, it is not a technical problem. There can be several reasons for this, but from what I have read, there have been many error messages that the CPU has been exceeded. Very common problem on a shared server. Maybe the hosting guys got tired of RWG1 using all the CPU on a shared server and hogging the resources so that none of the other sites on the server and closed the account? Or could it be that some of the content (not talking about wathces here, but maybe porn, pics, etc) was something that was in violation with the ISP's TOS? My guess is that we were using far too much bandwidth. Maybe this can be sorted out with an upgrade of the hosting plan, maybe not - time will tell. Admin, do you have any way of contacting Johnnyboy or do you at least know if he has an account here that he is likely to log into when he finds out the site is down? I am hoping that even if there is a severe problem that we can find a more permanent solution. RWG1 has its place and I would hate to see it lost like this. It is a piece of rep history from what I have read. Just a couple of days ago I found TTK's very first "open for business" post there - from 2004! These things are fun to read - for those of us who didn't live that era. Anyway, thanks for posting in our thread. Very appalling.. how could they, no how dare they...I am completely shocked...
