3717 just received

I'm a newb and I would like you to help me to identify the flaws on this watch. Only markers at 3,6,9 are lumed.

DAtewheel needs to be changed to an ETA one, 3-6-9 markers are crooked and it needs AR.

Apart from that a pretty nice watch

You got the v1 with the 3,6,9,12 lume which is closer to the gen.

That is a good start for a nice project.

Get it relume, change the date wheels with ETA and send the crystal to double ARer and it looks like a gen.

Looking at your pics, the marker is a bit crooked but you can fix it if you want to get it relume.

I am not an expert but markers at 3,6,9 are crooked.

AR doesn't look that bad to me but beeing my 1st watch I'm not the best judge.

I'd love to have my watch modded (relume and DD wheel swap) by Master The Zigmeister (since I am based in QC - Canada it would be even nicer) but I've read that is not available.

Since I travel a lot to Europe I could have it modded in Europe too. Any suggestion in this regard?

From the pics the AR looks pretty decent. I would just replace the datewheels personally, it will tranform the watch completely!

I alredy ordered the DD wheels from Cousins to start my 1st project.

Now I have to find a reputable modder in North America or EU.

I guess nobody expects to find no flaws but to understand what are the flaws then mod accordingly the watch to make it better.

I am new here so maybe I've misunderstood the forum goal and policy.

Perhaps I am mistaken but I believe that sharing pictures can also be informative on actual watch versions for the forum.

The 3717 is a beauty and with the datewheels and better AR ( Chiefs double AR looks fantastic on this watch ) it is as gen as they get.
