Is this a fantasy watch? I'd prefer if there is a gen out there. I know jack about Ladies watches, is this at least pretty close to being acurate?

thanks in advance!

There are so many dial variations, especially for ladies Datejusts, that I would be pretty surprised if this dial was not available. And, even if it is not in the Rolex catalog, I doubt that anyone other than Rolex themselves could tell you that. Furthermore, since you opted for the classic all-steel case without bobbles (jewels), it would never be called out even if that particular dial color is not available. I just hope your lady likes Rolexes (oddly, many do not share our fascination with them).

I bought a similar one from Josh, but without the fluted bezel. It's a gorgeous watch, I think I have photos of it posted somewhere here.

It's one main flaw is that the datewheel is dirty on some of the days. You have to look closely through the datemag to see it, not really an issue.

She loves it, though she kinda wishes it were quartz (yuck!) so I didn't have to reset it for her if she doesn't wear if for a few days (my watches have taken all the spaces on the winders ;-) ).

That was part of what I was eluding to about women not liking Rolex. For some reason, they almost always opt for a quartz designer watch over a mechanical Rolex, even when they know the Rolex is more expensive.

Women.

I bought an ETA powered TT model from PT about two years ago. It has the plain dial with CZ markers. A great watch, my better half loved it.

We were out one night at a function hosted by the boss and his wife. His wife had the exact same model on her wrist (but I assume gen, as he has a gen Datejust). I did a quick visual compare when they weren't looking, and the rep model is pretty damn good (IMO).

Ha..unless I was looking at two reps! ;):DB)
