Pearl is to small !

Finally I did it.

It took a lot of courage and I started to "modd" the insert for my 1665 DRSD.

Ordered a insert from Clarks and a luminous dot from Ofrei.

After I removed the modern pearl I tried to insert to Ofrei luminous dot.

Bingo the Ofrei dot is to small and falls through the hole in the insert.

I measured the hole and it has a diameter of 1,95 mm.

Which , vintage looking pearl should I buy for this insert ??

Or can i buy a good looking insert with goodlooking pearl.

Nice part is that the clark insert doesn't need any sanding or what ever and sits nice immediatally

I hate to say it, but you got the right pearl & the wrong insert. The PMWF insert, which is the best aftermarket insert for vintage Subs & Seadwellers, accepts the Ofrei Illumines dot perfectly.
