Toadtorrent Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Did you lume that yourself judging by the bottles in the back?? How did you do the pearl given the glass layer on top??? And...did you have to scrape the hands down to get enough space for the lume? It looks amazing!!

poopypants Posted November 3, 2008 Author Report Posted November 3, 2008 unfortunately, this is the only macro shot i got... i sent gen lume pics to the person who did this, unfortunately, it looks like he may not have made the dots FLAT enough... i am kinda in a dilemma to say something or not?!?! whatcha think?

Raymo Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Looks like a great job, I've ben looking at gen's for months and never niticed they had flat lume dots. Don't worry about it. Besides, how could anyone apply flat lume dots, it's a viscus substance and would naturally blob with surface tension. I'm really keen to give this a try myself, where can I get the super-lume paint...anyone please?

By the way, the flat lume dots on the Gen is applied with a stencil and wipe process, not possible to do this in the after-market.

poopypants Posted November 12, 2008 Author Report Posted November 12, 2008 its a v2... but that dot at 3 o'clock is preeeetty tight against that date window... just gave her a light cape cod bath and i have to say, this is without a doubt my favorite rep of all time... i had a gen chrono avenger and i used to miss it... definitely don't anymore... ummm, j/k!! i miss all the watches i have let go... LOL
