Scampichip84 Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 As you can see I'm a noob. Would just like to say how much I like the abv's especially (Gaytona), I'm in the process of deciding on a TD right now.
Legend Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 As you can see I'm a noob. Would just like to say how much I like the abv's especially (Gaytona), I'm in the process of deciding on a TD right now. You sir, are a rare breed. This thread was made for noobs, but I think you must be one of the 3 noobs who bothered to drop by to read it. Welcome to RWG. I am impressed already.
Scampichip84 Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 You sir, are a rare breed. This thread was made for noobs, but I think you must be one of the 3 noobs who bothered to drop by to read it. Welcome to RWG. I am impressed already. Thanks, Legend. But seriously. I can't honestly see why all, or at least 50% of noobs can't take the time to read this. Especially as there's a big arrow saying come this way (noobs).
Scampichip84 Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 Apologies was supposed to be 150% of noobs.
Legend Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 Apologies was supposed to be 150% of noobs. Hahaha so for every 1 noob that registers, 1.5 do not know about the existence of this thread. I have a feeling you are going to be good stuff around here. :

jonathanw Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Awesome information, a great repository to start from and well organised, thanks for the effort!
jackwills Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Great read so much information! Thank you!
icebergwtq Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 Well, I'm a noob, so I suppose I should check in here. It's obviously going to take me a while to run down those busted links, but I'm working on it.In the meantime, while I've owned a genuing SS Datejust since 1989, and worn it just about every single day, I finally decided I'd like something to break the monotony. I settled on the "Carlos Slim" SS Daytona with the black dial, joined a couple of rep forums, and tried to figure out who might offer the best dealer experience. I settled on Joshua at Perfect Time, ordered the watch, and had an amazingly wonderful experience, something that surprised me given my preconceptions of the world of rep watches and Asian dealers.I'm not yet sure exactly where to post my review of my experience with Joshua, but I expect I'll eventually figure it out. In the meantime, happy to be here, and am already plotting for a new member of my wrist family - likely a SS Day-Date sans as much bling as possible.
Hubery Duke Posted September 11, 2016 Report Posted September 11, 2016 Looks like the links are all working again.
poloboy1 Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 This is a great article thanks for looking out for the little guy
