Samurai
Have a look at this on Josh's site. http://www.jpc8118.com/000000000-coming-so...ono-p-5255.html Looks pretty good. Some flaws as I see them are... 6 marker should be cut off by the date window and the markers at the top of the dial (10 / 11 / 12 etc.) should be thicker. Any comments? Tom
"made with gen as sample" not sure a chinese replica watch factory is going to shell out on a $25,000 watch to make replica's from, especially when it's a franck muller and so only appeals to a minority (myself included) if it was made with a genuine they must be pretty bad at their job if there are such obvious flaws... Guest Sql_pl
I searched and could not find gen with round chrono pushers. But maybe there is one.

jeff g
Less than 40mm wide, but 18mm thick???? Fugly. I have a beautiful Asian 21J that I bought 5 years ago that is the black dial Casablanca, and it is 9mm thick. That's what a 7750 movement will do for a 40 mm watch...make it THICK. No thanks. Samurai
Yes....get double AR and super-lume on this.....and should be alright. Wonder if a gen dial will fit this....it should if the position of the date window and the dial size is the same. Anyone can help with this? dorgenss
The natural color of FM is gold, yellow or rose gold It is produced also in steel for a more human price, but gold is another thing ! In the pics of King this FM gold is very pretty, but I think that in your hand it is not really good because the chinese plating is very very light (3 5 micron)

It certainly won't last a long time with regular wear, it's no different than any other gold plated rep.. IMO this is a watch you wouldn't wear everyday anyway. BTW It DOES looks really nice in your hand.
anton
IMO, the markup on gen FMs are insane. I guess some of the costs can be attributed to the fact they have Platinum rotors on their movements. But how much could that possibly add? I believe the list price of the SS model is $15,000. The gen is NOT AR'ed. I'm going to guess that the movement is based on a ETA7753 but I could be wrong.
slickdick
The markup IS insane, on most brands. A couple of 'swiss made' brands actually do deliver value for money. For the rest, there is the rep world, just like for example our master of complications. Edited November 11, 2008 by slickdick
Samurai
The watch will be released next week. Visually....the models relased couple of weeks back with the 21K movement look to be more accurate (cut off 6 etc.). The movement though is a big question. Guest Sql_pl
I am not sure if you guys noticed but this new one comes with rubber strap - kind of cool mix - this type of case mixed with chrono and rubber band! I am really tempted!
Samurai
The gen also comes with an option of leather and rubber.
archibald
The gen also comes with an option of leather and rubber. Have I entered some paralell Muller universe? What are you guys talking about? Innacurate? 25K? Gold plating? Expensive gen dials? Caseback's good aside from the idiotic SN. Case/pushers/crown good. Dial's OK (mine'll have a gen dial which I bought for $19). Gen and rep are both steel. Gen's about 11K.
anton
Same here, Archibald. I got a Conquistador King Chrono dial (gen) I bought from a seller in S. FL for about that price.
Samurai
@archibald......you are right. The gen is selling for about $11K. Not sure about the serial no. but at least they got the model no. correct and the caseback engravings seem fairly decent. Any tips on where to get a gen dial for this watch.....or would it be possible for you to buy one for me....if you have a source. Cheers

Samurai
Thanks mate. Will keep a look-out on the bay. Would you be able to confirm if the gen dial will fit this rep (the gen dial has 6 cut-off and bolder numbers on the top)......as such it should if the date window cut-out position is in the same place. Can't wait to get this baby on my wrist.
