rogerthat Posted November 11, 2008 Report Share Posted November 11, 2008 Just bought a gen crystal: 25-295-C1 on Ebay. Received it but I would like to be able to tell if it is indeed gen. Did come in a printed Rolex polybag but the sealing of the bag looks like something any one could do themselves with an inexpensive machine. I have a loupe in hand, shouldn't I see a faint crown etching in the 6 o'clock position under a loupe, cause I don't see anything? Thanks, M Yes M.. looks like everything is legite.. here's the pic from the seller spell it all small caps no spacing ...bcwatchparts make sure you note in the comment box 25-295 C-2 ... not C-1 as the 2 has the thicker gasket we need for the WM9 .. otherwise you will get the thinner C-1 gasket.. I trust this is the old version. There is no crown etching at 6.
