cht
I am still a big noob, but this is no match for a WIS! Or am I wrong? http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Submariner-Stain...1QQcmdZViewItem
kbh
They don't get any faker than that. I don't think he knows it's fake or he wouldn't have mentioned the 2836-2 ETA movement. I emailed him so I'll see if he gets back to me. Good catch.
yodap
Yes you are right, it's fake... The seller's an idiot, he even tells that there's an ETA movement inside :D "On the perpetual weight on the inside, there is 25 jewels ROLEX 1940 SA and deep inside the movement there is 2836-2." Greetz.
kbh
The idiots are the ones bidding on it.

cht
The idiots are the ones bidding on it. The seller claims it was verified at a jewler as authentic. We should all ask him if he knows it's a fake, so that way he doesn't get in trouble for counterfeiting!
freddy333
They don't get any faker than that. I don't think he knows it's fake or he wouldn't have mentioned the 2836-2 ETA movement. The seller knows perfectly well it is fake, otherwise he would not have resorted to the faker's trick of using dark, (purposely) out-of-focus pictures. A classic (albeit not-too-clever) scammer. cht
Reported to ebay. Can you imagine being the person ready to drop 1 grand on that and not even have a clue?
alt.watch.obsessive
I don't think he's trying to fool anyone, he just has to play dumb to list it on Ebay. People are willing to pay $1000 for "Swiss Grade A" replicas until they find places like this.
USMC8404
The listing is no longer there.
