how to have site remember rather than log on each time

i havent noticed a way to have this site remember me when i try sign on, so have to type user name and pass word each time

is there a way to make it faster to log on?

If you come in through the home page there is nothing there to remember the user but if you log straight into the forum there is a little 'Remember Me' box that you can check.
