One good thing about the recent economic turn down, the price of vintage gens is slowly dropping. I wanted to share a recent acquisition of mine: a watch which has been a long time favorite, and one which I have been searching for a long time.

This past summer, I had the pleasure of spending some time with a visiting member in NYC, and admiring his beautiful gen sub. Ever since that day, I knew I had to have one. B)

Below are a few pics of my two transitional gens, a 16800 and a triple six. I just got the sub today, which is gorgeous IMO. This is a gen matte dialed sub with low 7 mil serial #s, and came complete with box and papers.

Hope you enjoy the pics. I'd love to see any other transitional reps or gens other members may have :)

Real beauties...

This matte looks very well cared, plus box and papers... that makes it a collector's item. Congrats!

I found myself sometimes looking for 16800 on the web...

Gorgeous 16800 vly!

You gotta love this period of transition: a slowl break away from years of 1680 style, yet not quite as modernized as the 16610
