Guest jdb1417 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 I am trying to find the rep of the IWC portuguese Chronograph automatic, however it looks like all of the trusted sellers (puretime, trustytime,...etc) no longer sell the model. Does anyone know if it was discontinued? Please let me know if there is a trusted dealer that has them in stock. thanks
b16a2 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Try Silix, it looks like on his website that they're still available. Beware that the movement is very bad in those watches though, which is a shame because the 3714 is one of the most beautiful watches around!
alligoat Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 Yep, I was looking at one today and it seemed that I remember reading about the 7750 in there being problematic http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1658 Also noticed Ruby had one http://www.nicereplica.com/pro_detail.php?ProId=542 So beautiful in gold... Is this the one that Ziggy refuses to work on because it is such a problem? You'd think that moving the running seconds from 9 to 6 and doing away with the 12 hour counter wouldn't be that big a deal. So beautiful in gold...
liquid-air888 Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 Mine just arrived from King at: www.kingwatches.net. A beautful watch indeed. Quite large too. From China to my hand in the US in 5 days. I asked her about the problematic movement. She said it shouldn't have any problems. We'll see... In the meantime, since it is only the 1st day, it's working just fine... Let's see how long it lasts
Shundi Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 Alright, question about this one (as it is simply beautiful) Can the same graphite treatment used on Daytona's to some success be used on this model?
FxrAndy Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 I belive so, i know of people that have treated Ingy chronos the same way also
jawndoe Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 anyone know how accurate of a rep it is? it seems the fish design on the crown is wrong.. the pushers also seem to protrude too far
