Yes. Michael Phelps is an Omega ambassador, so naturally, he wears an Omega.. Judging from the edges of the bezel and calendar distance on the dial, I think he is sporting the 45mm..

Yeah it is the 45.5MM. You can tell by saving and zooming the pic easier if you find it hard to see. The space distance between the datewindow and the edge of the 3 o'clock marker is the easiest tell as becks mentioned. Also the space between the center post and where the block of "writing" starts above the 6 o'clock marker is another. It is always interesting to me how much smaller the watch wears on rubber than on steel. Still, he makes it look pretty small besides. How tall a guy is he, anyone know?

6'4", 200 lbs according to wiki.

I was thinking that the PO had to be a 45 because it looked pretty big because it had a lot of presence despite being on black rubber. Everyone sees things a little differently, but in this case we all seem to have come to the same conclusion.
