andreww Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 It takes time to reach china. Especially given the time of year. Give it another week or two before you panic.
Toadtorrent Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 I've had a watch from Canada to China take 6 weeks during regular season...not high season using regular air mail.
Mickey Padge Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 You sent it "registered" air mail, yes? IE: There will be a parcel reference number which you have sent to Josh vie email? If you just sent it unregistered, with just a few stamps, then you only have yourself to blame, the watch is your responsibly to return to the dealer safely..... With luck your watch will arrive soon
xslyyx Posted January 4, 2009 Author Report Posted January 4, 2009 i sent it unregisterd, via airmail. In the mail from Josh HE wrote that it could be done either way! Nevermind.....hope it reaches him then
Mickey Padge Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 I have had similar emails for Josh, he asks that you do not send via courier, IE: DHL/EMS/UPS He prefers that you use registered air mail, sending the watch unregistered is very risky indeed, fingers crossed it arrives OK
arty909 Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 I had a smilar experience, but keep in mind I'm in th U.S.- My new Asian 7750 Navitimer conked out after one week. I followed his instructions and kept in contact with him. He had the watch in 9 business days, fixed it (pretty much), and it took 11 business days to arrive back in my hands. Total time for transit and repair was about 3 1/2 weeks. My guess is you will have it in this upcoming week. Good luck, Arty
cosmosblau Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 It takes time to reach china. Especially given the time of year. Give it another week or two before you panic. This is my experience, too. Try to be patient.
TenJed69 Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I returned a watch to Ruby and it took 5 weeks to reach her I think (I sent registered and tracked it online).
jmarin.72 Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 (edited) I have sent 5 times to my rep dealer in China from EU and only in one case the watch was lost but this was due to my responsibility since i sent it as a regular unregistered air mail. i couldnt blame the dealer for this. The risk is always higher in such cases and i accepted it. The shipping time for the other four was from two up to six weeks. There was no stantard time and given the fact that indeed is a holiday season...well i wouldn't worry to much though. My opinion is that the watch will get to J's hands. Just be patient. John Edited January 5, 2009 by jmarin.72
