rmcsherry
What's a Secret Service Watch? Who makes it? Thanks. Unavailable to members of the public. However, at $280 for a Miyota 0S20, I'm sure you can find a better looking watch for the money!
Toadtorrent
What's a Secret Service Watch? Who makes it? It's apparently made in China with a Japanese quartz movement from Jorg Gray who will private label these for about $180 apiece with a minimum order of 12. This Secret Service branded one is only available in the SS employees store which is not open to the public. The article below: The Watches of Obama ...gives the link to the company: Jorg Gray Catalogue Link that gives the pricing info.
fakemaster
Interesting. People who truly need to be on time always seem to go quartz...
cskent69
That thing is terrible. I would hate to have to be forced to wear that.
Pannyman04
That thing is terrible. I would hate to have to be forced to wear that. Join the RAF then. Some nice Seikos. (But also Quartz ... mechanical being something of an affectation quite at odds with modern day military utilitarianism). Anyone know what Obama wears/wore when not on the campaign trail? I was a regular on Timezone in the Clinton era (really .. that long ago ..) and arm shots were regularly posted ... while during elections he wore Timex digitals, outside of these times he was rather more inclined towards the high-end (Choppard, AP and the like). fakemaster
That thing is terrible. I would hate to have to be forced to wear that. I agree. I said the same thing at RWI and someone thought I was making an anti Obama statement. I'm like uh no I just think it's ugly.

cougaree
This is a nice informative site http://www.onthedash.com/docs/obama.html And now you can buy the same chronograph for $250 on Ebay See Here I am not the seller, btw. If I am not so anti-chronograph, I would get one. For now, I am settling with two chronographs in my collection: Precista PRS-17C (ETA 27J quartz!) and Tissot TTouch.
