Is this model close to gen?

Also, I read somewhere that the tachymeter is white on his volcano

yours is black, which is correct. Is yours the updated version?

Thanks

Different watches.

The other one is the MBW model secs at 9. The Volcano in this thread is the secs at 12 and the most accurate I think.

I've got a secs@9 black themes and the volcano is much closer to the GEN than the black themes, ie the non symetrical sub dials, cyclop, etc. Here's some pictures.......

Now here's a photo of a GEN AP ROO Volcano......

Compared to my Secs@12......

Thanks for taking the time to post this. The comparison looks very good to me! One of the things that always concerns me is the comparison of the brushed finish between a rep and gen. Any idea how these compare? The only thing that I can see that I'd want to do is possibly replace the crown which seems like the most biggest discrepancy between the two from what I can tell without my magnifying glass. :)

Hi apollo, SUPER watch!! Mind revealing which dealer u got it from??

Your secs@12 in the photo has the hornback strap with orange stitching. I thought only MBW has the hornback strap with the orange stitching, but MBW doesn't have secs@12 right?? Thus u got me all excited, I'm really curious where u got your beauty from.

I got the watch from King, and I opted for a rubber strap which is of very high quality actually.

The hornback strap is a GEN, read this thread for more details......

Sigh, a gen strap......I should have guessed, it looks too damn sweet to be from any rep factory.

But I were to go your way and get the gen strap as well, my AP Volcano wld cost me almost $1.1k!! Do you think it's worth it though (cos I'm actually contemplating it)?

I'm now contemplating a gen strap too. Wow, that's an awesome combo!
