Firstly, it's amusing. Come on, at least give me credit for being amusing.

Secondly, his business practices stink and seem to be based on bribery, lying or insulting other dealers and he is pushing us towards the general walmartification of rep selling.

I have bought many reps form all dealers. Had some issues with some. Never an issue with Paul's. And he is the cheapest by far. He even sent a replacement for a watch that was held up in customs after a month. Free.

I now realize the value of spending more to go with a Josh type guy, but no need to bash someone that has never wronged you.

Why not? I'm not bashing Paul as much as standing up for those he's maligned who can't bash him for fear of being dragged down to his level.

Basically, he's [censored] me off a few times and people here are way too willing to forgive and forget to the point that newcomers don't get the full picture as they don't see the history. I'm just a solitary voice who likes the corner-shop specialist dealers instead of the Tesco Maxi Super Hyper Market.

I suppose I'm that annoying bloke outside the Wallmart with a plackard saying "save the little shops". You can ignore me if you want, I'm just one guy.

Well I've bought from Paul a few times only to be satisfied. Hope his site is back up soon, I know he's had some issues with it lately.

i like paul and i hope the site is up real soon as i have money burning my pockets.. as with all reps their will be issues. i have had a quality control issue with EVERY dealer at one time. with paul pricing and wide selection i shop and will continue to shop... but i also shop the other dealers especially when it comes to the higher end reps. please paul i have another order to place... come up soon.. and not the 'bestswiss' site for the retail customers.

It seems the other dealers are planing the tourneauification of rep selling.

Like Walmart, I hope Paulmart puts a downward price pressure on the entire market.

It's become a habit now. I can't help it any more.

One difference (and there are many) between TTK and Paul is that TTK posts content. Normally, when I'm negative here on a forum, I am attacking the post and not the poster, which makes some people assume I don't like them but that's a different story. Anyway, normally, I attack the post, not the poster. Paul is different though, and forgive me my one Paul-bashing weakness, so feel free to ignore my Paulmart comments. Or, put up with my 'wit' in return for the few helpful and good posts I do make.

Anyway, I'm just one guy and no-one of real consequence here, but I admit my anti-Paulmart bias. Everywhere else, I try to be as neutral as possible, and I hope this comes through in my posts.
