Clint Eastwood Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Nice work S. i see we use the same book for this kind of work:) It's funny becausei have achieved a same kind of work last month with the same effect dial lume, and i do a shiny gloss varnish dial with some cracks to simulate age: here pics. Where do you find the thick caseback ? The engraving is from the Omeris Arpesella one, i relay like this "personal" caseback; where do you do the engraving ? I even prefer a thick full caseback instead display one:D
MADRED7 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Aha...you got Omeris watch He would be impressed on that work...great! Theo

Kollektor Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 This is such a dream watch for me. Brilliant work VDB!
mstate Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 After a 6 week wait that seemed much longer, I got my first VDB! I have to admit I never considered myself a vintage enthusiast but I had to have a VDB Cali. My build spec is almost the same as the one listed here.
elisiX Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 That really is quite stunning VDB. Better watch your back..
projectologist Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 After a 6 week wait that seemed much longer, I got my first VDB! I have to admit I never considered myself a vintage enthusiast but I had to have a VDB Cali. My build spec is almost the same as the one listed here. So when do we get to see pics?
mstate Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 My request to VDB for the build was simple...homage Cali fully vintagized with Cortebert 616 movement but in great condition (not too beat up looking)...haha Thanks to Stephan/Helmut for the wonderful work...I'm discovering new details every day with my Cali. Special thanks to projectologist...a fellow VDB owner whose own Cali was what got me hooked in the first place. Thank you for answering all my questions!
VDBroucke Posted July 6, 2009 Author Report Posted July 6, 2009 hi J. nice see you here... bigger pics pls ha ha hope you have fun with the SYLT...
Kollektor Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 mstate -- doesn't get any better than that. Are you on the Left Coast by any chance? I also saw Projectologist's 3646 and haven't been able to get it out of my mind since.
