mjmurphy926
I was swapping the dial and date wheel on my wm9 v1 sub with a noob dial and date wheel and while installing the second hand, my hand set tool (drilled out tooth pick ) slipped and bent the second hand Does anybody know where I might find a modern sub second hand for a swiss ETA 2836-2? Thanks, Mike
spider87
Sorry, I still haven't gotten the lingo yet. What is a handset tool? I'm sorry to not be on topic but I am just curious as I have taken the hands off a few clocks and the one seems to be having trouble keeping the same time... lol and I'm wondering if there is some trick to getting them back correctly? alligoat
Clark's Watch Supply on ebay, aka nostalgia2000 is a good place. You'll have to buy the whole handset- but it's only like $15.00 or so. Sometimes referred to as Tudor hands which use ETA movements. A watchmaker might have a spare, size is 25 or 26- that's .25mm... mjmurphy926
@spider - The hand set tool is just a rod with a hole in the center used to install hands by pushing them gently into place. @alli - Thanks for the info. @BK - PM sent. Thanks all.
