JoJo35 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Today I dug out a couple from the watch box that haven't seen the light of day in a long long time (and I know, that is a shame) They're not at the same level as VDB's, but they're still nice. I'd still love to find a gen movement for the deco
Ronin Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 B E A U T I F U L.... Thanks for sharing! -Ronnin
l3x Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Real nice pair. It's a shame they don't get the wrist time they deserve. Are they molnija powered?
CharlieUK Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 very nice indeed! DSN? I would guess a 6497 on the first one and a molnija on the watch decorated bezel..
Pre V Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Looks like Watchmaster's work with a Swiss Unitas 6497 (circa 2005-2006).
JoJo35 Posted March 2, 2009 Author Report Posted March 2, 2009 Looks like Watchmaster's work with a Swiss Unitas 6497 (circa 2005-2006). Yes, you are correct; however, the deco bezel is the master's beauty
Watchmeister Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Congrats on both watches. They look great. You can always upgrade the engine. Here is the same WM with a replacement Cortebert engine. And for all the wonderful advancements in the vintage world, the Ziggy brown dial is still a work of art.
VDBroucke Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 wow a nice wm kampfschwimmer and a deco 2 cool 3646 versions in the end 30er,start 40er
Entreprenuer Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Wow Nice Watches, not to mention love the photography =)
Pre V Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Yes, you are correct; however, the deco bezel is the master's beauty Yeah I am now kicking myself for letting Quarks sell his...back then it was strapped and wristed for quite a number of hours a day. Love both WM's work of vintage art! kruzer00: That embedded engine is a brilliant beauty! Wear it in great spirits and exceptional health! Have got to get back to the deep sea hunting for a renaissance piece...
