Wolf Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Reps will be out before Gens again! http://shopping.e-conveni.net/item_info.ht..._id=859603&
V Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 I know.. Joshua has told us this a couple of weeks ago that it was at the end of production. He will have it soon.
ubiquitous Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Man... Those are hot! I love the blued hands on the Cali dial!
V Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Have I seen right or there is also a NEW CDG Swan neck movement????
Chronus Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Definitely a new CDG movement ... just like the engraved movement with the fat pointer for the swan neck.
Finepics Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 And it's ETA - you can just see the stamp under the balance wheel - nice!! Also the winding gears are much better finished on these new movts (G series as well) and exactly like the gen.
chris5264 Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 That movement is sooooo close, if they could just get the font thinner and smaller for the "officine panerai" it would be perfect.
ehtolcad Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 too bad the 1936 has 'california' on the dial from what i heard it won't be on the production version of the dial
Cucumber_Jones Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 too bad the 1936 has 'california' on the dial from what i heard it won't be on the production version of the dial I like the california on the dial - I know the gen will not have it but I think that was a mistake on Panerai's part they should have kept it.
Finepics Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 They also seem to have L Swiss L on the dial but they are at least 47mm
archibald Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 They also seem to have L Swiss L on the dial but they are at least 47mm I'd swear i saw a pic posted of a gen 2006 california dial w/ "Panerai" printed on the dial--did that not make it into production?
leitztozeiss Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Wow. Wow. 3646 and new 111H with updated movement!!!!
baltic Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Wow. Wow. 3646 and new 111H with updated movement!!!! Wow indeed, once our guys start offering this 111 I'm in
artoero Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 and should they make the swansneckregulater and lin make black like original? That movement is sooooo close, if they could just get the font thinner and smaller for the "officine panerai" it would be perfect.
MADRED7 Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Finally.......yes! Hopefully they did a real 47mm case and not that 46mm-something thingy. I will be in for the CaliDial and/or the standard base....just to compare with my other Rad´s (ExWMs Rads all 3 models and the shitty smaller china-molnija) I got. If HonPo sells for 38k Yen......we will see it in some days popping up for around 300$....and this has to be SWISS Unitas with swan neck! When theres also a China6497 version available, I go for that cheaper model.......cause I will try to attach a ss-back anyway! DEALERS COME UP WITH THIS MODEL..........QUICK PLEASE!!!!!! Theo
V Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 DEALERS COME UP WITH THIS MODEL..........QUICK PLEASE!!!!!! What he said ^^^^^^
MADRED7 Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Kostas...we are the same nuts and vintage-idiots....always looking for a good basis model to mod and vintage...... I see new projects coming up Theo
chris5264 Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Kostas...we are the same nuts and vintage-idiots....always looking for a good basis model to mod and vintage...... I see new projects coming up Theo My exact thoughts with this. The blue hands will definately come off and be replaced with gold. I will also fix the pin and perhaps keep the dial overnight in some motor oil. This should really be a step up from the 1938a, which is around 600 USD used. Mostly because of the size being 47mm as opposed to the 1938 which is only 45.
