razvanbar Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 Hello I have found the attached image of a watch on a site. I love skeletonized watches and I'm looking forward to buying one. Yet, I haven't seen this one before and I'm asking you... do you know anything of a gen like this? The closest thing i've thought of is the Omega Tourbillion - http://www.omegawatches.com/index.php?id=3...&no_cache=1 but it's a tooooootallly different thing. So... question: Have you seen this watch before? Is there any gen like it or is it a combination of a Patek Philipe with Omega case?
morlock Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 OMG, sorry I don't want to be rude, but that is ugly one. You will not find a gen on this, it is a fantasy watch based on a Speedmaster case and a 21j movt. It should not cost more than US$ 100. If you like it, buy it, but been a fantasy rep it is easily to call out.
MasterOfPuppets Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 yup, a fantasy model Omegas shouldn't be skeletonized, its just not right

numptyj Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 http://www.google.com/products?q=omega+ske...=1&ct=title Shundi, the first watch viewed on ur google search is worth $208,000??? yup just checked the Omega 2008 catalogue that model is priced up at
Shundi Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 Indeed but that forth one down (vintage) is a more "reasonably" priced $4,500
Toadtorrent Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 Shundi, the first watch viewed on ur google search is worth $208,000??? Yup. Tourby's are expensive. You generally won't find a top brand tourby for < $150,000...well you can for about $135,000 or so...but they go up from there depending on the complications added.
Toadtorrent Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 BTW...given the free information you're getting here from the forum...why not go for a free watch? For those who aren't supporters yet, upgrading your membership for only a few bucks a month helps keep the forum alive which you will want after you read the quality of info here...AND, if you act now...you get a free $4 raffle ticket which is worth more than the month fee anyways (I think...don't quote me on that). Don't forget to go HERE to register for the lotto. RWG Support RAFFLE
