jitai
I never wear my 40mm eversince it came back from the datewheel mod. I always thought that it will look too small for a guy as compared to its 44mm brothers. I think I'm wrong cos it really looks great. - Love the bold date font and the improved cannon pin modded by the previous owner Here's a quick look at the gen... And here's a pic of mine again... - Looks pretty gen IMO Comments welcome

F1FAN
Let me know when you want to sell it... my girl wants a Pam 40mm. BTW the 48 was my first GEN Pam.
Mickey Padge
Looking good Seems the gen has a polished crown guard, not brushed? An easy fix though
mick92627
VERY good looking piece. Want one! Is anyone selling a 40mm Pam these days? I really like the look, but most of the usual suspects you can find from the forum are carrying the ginormous versions. I prefer a smaller watch. More visually understated. On a somewhat related note, I'm still hopeful we'll the Omega UPO in a 42mm or smaller. Not holding my breath, though.
sander
Looking good Seems the gen has a polished crown guard, not brushed? An easy fix though I'm working on one right now. getting lello dw, chiefs ar and cyclops, gen strap, gen deployment, relume dial and hands and getting the GC pin fixed. Just wondering.... the CG is polished but should the pin be polished too or should it be brushed?
sssurfer
A great rep. Funny how the 40mm auto PAM reps are usually better than their 44mm counterparts. Just the CG... yes, polish it. And maybe a little reshaping before the polishing job. Just wondering.... the CG is polished but should the pin be polished too or should it be brushed? I checked my OP catalogue, and all my gen pics (about a dozen), and I am still unsure about it. But I would say polished.
Ronin
Ahhh, the elusive 048 rep. My wife is dying for one of these. So much, we are considering getting her a GEN. ATTN REP MAKERS: Start Repping these again!!!! PLEASE!!!!
Noel Fleischer
the 40mm. PAM's get no respect: "girlie watch" i love mine and they wear big (about 42mm) way bigger than a sub or explorer. here's my gen on the croc strap and a rep regatta chrono on the gen SS bracelet. i get alot of compliments on that- the rep is pretty good, not great but the bracelet is a killer. whitestripes
Hont doens't keep anything in "stock." I think he just goes to the factories to check up on what they have. It's a shame... I think I might ask him myself.

clkcadet
Where did you get the datewheel mod from? I got a pam 48 and the date seems a bit thin. Otherwise its pretty awesome.
Member X
Thanks guys I am surprise to see that the 40mm pams have its strong fans and supporters. Here's a wrist pic showing the 44mm and 40mm The 40mm is indeed much smaller but still have its own class Thanks very much for posting this pic - it's just the thing us n00bs need to see to work out which one we want! The 44mm really does seem to wear big for its size - the bigger versions must be massive!!
