slickdick
I've never experienced Wong telling white lies. I think what he claimes is genuine in auction, is genuine.

watchguyusa1
I just asked him about this auction, the case is aftermarket, and the movt is a v72 with added bridges, the rest is gen
ken fingerlove
The countersinking on the screw on the bridge looks bad. Surely that is a relatively simple thing to get right? 727 movements seem pretty rare to me. I haven't seen one on eBay for months, and I fear the price of one that will/might appear. alligoat
The movement is not even close The biggest tell is the pointer on the balance bridge- all wrong for a 727. You might find one on a 6234 from the early 60's- an early v72B.

You could be right about the 72B. that being said I have a 72C, 724, and a 727, and that movement that David shows just looks plain "rough" compared with any of mine.
