In retrospect, I find it interesting it doesn't happen more often; suely it can't be too hard to manufacture 1:1 reps of casino chips. Why didn't I think of it sooner? To honest probably. True, but introduce them right and how do you get caught? Just a hypothetical, but if you were to have the fake ones in your pants pocket when arriving, hit a table, play a little while, take your chips with you when you leave the table to go to the bathroom, hit a different table later on with a mix of real and fake chips, as long as they are good enough, how would the casino even know you were the one that introduced them? This is used to track when chips leave the casino and to combat counterfeits. The casinos put this into place before counterfeiting became a problem. They are always a step ahead. After all there are only a handfull of casinos in OZ. Seven or so I think, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Townsville, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart and Perth. Col. That was the thing that I found interesting - Sydney casino saying they haven't had any problems with people trying to pass fake chips in 10 years. But even using some from of RF chip in the chips, how would they even catch anyone? 100,000 chips on the premises and they have one walk out the door, how do they even notice really?
