Slartibartfast
Well the title says it all. I have purchased generic spring bars, but they have flat ends, which can be seen through the lug holes, and are just not the same as the rounded ones. Don't fancy spending a fortune on originals, so who does the OEM versions. Thanks guys!
ubiquitous
Hmmmm... The only ones I've seen with true rounded ends are gen. Most of the aftermarkets have the flat ends that you've observed. Plus, the aftermarket ones tend to wear out pretty quickly- Couple of squeezes in and out of lugs and they're already tired. I have some gens that have seen numerous changes and they're still as sprung as my... well, lt's just say they're stiff.
alligoat
I've got some springbars w/ rounded ends- seems like they came from timeholder (ebay) over in Hong Kong maybe. It's been 4 years or so, so the CRS takes over.
offshore
I have only seen the true round or dome top bars, as OEM from Seiko and Citizen. Checked a couple of catalogues today, and the only listing close, shows a bevelled edge (45 deg) top which is shorter, so it doesn't protrude. I'm sure they would be available in quantity from HK, but I don't know anyone carrying them. Maybe check with a Seiko or Citizen distributor.
