stopping subscription

I seem to of subscribed for email notification of new topics started in the general forum. When I go to "My Controls" to cancel it, it says I am not subscribed to anything. I also can not cancel it from the "Gen Discussion" section.

If you got to the General Discussion forum, and then look at the top right there's a Forum Options drop-down. There's an option in there to unsubscribe from notifications from that forum.

There's a chance that might be the ticket.

Try subscribing, then un-subscribing.

Click Subscribe....

And then see if it still says you are unsubscribed.... It won't make a difference if you are already subscribed.

If it subscribes you, you should be able to un-subscribe.
